My MIL asked to take my son this Tuesday. Which happens to be my brothers last day with us before he ships out for the National Guard... I politely told her that my brother has plans with my son while I’m at work, so they can spend quality time together before he’s gone.. Oh god, did she throw a fit about that one.. I don’t understand how she doesn’t respect that. Of everything, she should be more than understanding about that. 🤦🏼♀️

Yeah she should be, kinda selfish but let her have a fit, I’m sure she can make time to see him another day 🤷♀️ and it’s sweet ur brother wants time with him before he goes 🇺🇸

She’s absolutely ridiculous.
She texts his dad like “I’m done trying. He’s your son to tell her to let me take him”. 🤦🏼♀️ She’s nothing but drama every time it isn’t her way. And yes! They are adorable. He loves his uncle! And my brother is so sweet to him!

@for_the_love_of_boys, that would drive me nuts and make me wanna have less effort involving her.. not on purpose but who wants to deal with shit like that.. I have a feeling my bfs stepmom will be like this, I’m not excited abt it.

@joyfulmom2b, she’s always like this. So when she wants to see him on days that I work, I let her take him for my five hour shifts, instead of my ten hours .😊 She wants to be a dickhead because my brother is leaving , then she doesn’t need to see him every time she asks. I don’t understand why she thinks she can see him whenever tho . She needs to realize she’s going to be told no sometimes.
