My 6 year old went through an acting out phase and I had no clue what it was all about. She was having crazy meltdowns and one day she colored all over my carpet with marker and then lied about it. I was dumbfounded because she is a very mature and intelligent little girl and this behavior is something I didn’t have to worry about her doing at 2 years old, let alone 6! I ended up spending more one on one time with her and it seemed to eventually do the trick. Maybe give that a shot? It took a while but she eventually just stopped one day.

She’s at an age where she’s going to test your boundaries. You have to pick your battles and the ones you do fight, you have to hold your ground and stick with it. Teach her that her actions have consequences.

@ashleighevans48, it’s hard. 3 is such a transitional age. They think they’re so big and they want so much independence. Hang in there. Talk with her pedi to make sure it’s not anything medical as well.

Could be acting out due to new baby is coming and at that age they are like teens trying to find themselves and what they want they demand kids gotta love em
