I’m measuring 39 weeks. My due date is Tuesday and my cervix is still closed..... any stretches or food I can eat to help soften and open my cervix and maybe even dilate? I tried taking a really warm bath the last three days and now I have another yeast infection..... so I need other remedies

Bouncing on a yoga ball or the edge of your bed, lots of walking, sex, freash pineapples and spicy food as been known to help woman.

Dilation really doesn't mean a whole lot until you're in active labor. When I had my daughter I was hardly dilated a centimeter and my cervix was still high and long. I ended up going into labor that night.

@threeplusone, I haven’t had any Braxton contractions my entire pregnancy— not even the slightest cramp. My cervix is apparently softening but still closed. I’m just ready to get this over with. I have a reflexology massage scheduled for Tuesday to hopefully induce my labor naturally with certain pressure points being touched.

@mrsgonzalez2018_2u, being able to handle it isn’t the problem, not having a significant other is 🤣🤣

@mrsgonzalez2018_2u, omg I just bought primrose and raspberry tea, I heard it’s suppose to soften your cervix and kickstart labor. The cashier told me she’s heard it works within 48 hours
