Vbac birth plans... do these seem like reasonable and achievable birth plans for baby no.2. I never made a birth plan with Andrew and everything went horrific I didn't have time to think of what I wanted and I didn't have time to make desicions in the moment. so iv jotted some things down I'd like to happen. Iv wrote 2 out as I'm well aware there is a possibility I may need another emergency c section and I want to be prepared

I don’t think anyone’s allowed in if they have to use GA while doing a c-section hun xx

Yes they seem perfectly reasonable. I've never written one, just gone with what my body wants & told the midwives as we went. I have demanded they not touch me during Labour before x

@courtniek98x damn !! That is like my worst nightmare getting put under on my own xx
Courtnie·
@andrewsmom04, I’m the same hun! It’s my biggest fear incase anything happens during but I don’t think they allow anyone in because they’ll only put you under if it’s really necessary xx

Sounds good. I will just say if you're under General anaesthetic nobody is allowed to be present but they should give baby straight to dad all being well. Also look into if your hospital have wireless fetal monitoring, it will allow you to move freely. Also if you want baby to have vitamin k and how it's to be administered and 3rd stage - if you want the injection to help with the placenta.

If you have to go under anaesthetic, partners aren’t usually allowed in the theatre room. Once baby is born baby is usually given to dad or birthing partner until you come round. My auntie was a midwife xx
