Yes. I’ve been taking pills after sex for about 6 years now. They don’t know why I get them so much 😭 they did switch me to these pills about a year ago when I told them we were TTC. I am just so paranoid to take any medicine after my miscarriage.

I'd call the pharmacy or 24h line and double check for pregnancy. But if they prescribed it it's probably fine. I would definitely be going to diff doctors to find the cause of your utis though. Not good. Maybe a holistic doctor or something.

I haven’t tried a holistic doctor but I have seen 4 other doctors 2 of them being urologists. My OB said it could be partly caused by my tilted uterus. And one of the urologists said “Honeymoon Cystitis”. It’s definitely frustrating to deal with.

Interesting. I have a tilted uterus too but legit never get uti. The cystitis thing...idk. stupid vaginas.

Do you have pcos or hormone issues or thyroid issues I have family members with those and they constantly are getting uti

I took that during my pregnancy. I completely understand your fears though. The warning label says it's safe for pregnancy as long as you're not in your last month (36 weeks to 40 weeks). If you're in your last month, don't take it.

@mamacheybb, I don’t believe so but I’ve never been specifically tested for those things. I’ll give my OB a call today and see what she says. She wasn’t the one who gave me these pills so I think I would feel better hearing it from her than the urologist that prescribed them to me.

It’s def worth a shot , I would search also causes of frequent uti just so you can think of other things to ask it’s unfortunate but sometimes we have to do the digging
