Reflux still acting up?

@mommy_x3, that’s insane. Have you tried getting a second opinion from a different gastro? I hope I’m not overstepping, but I’d look into seeing a chiropractor! The benefits they have for babies with reflux is amazing

@_sheriee, no you’re fine! And a lady had mentioned it to me on here I’ve been looking into it.. her GI doctor won’t do anything for her she did change her medicine but I’m still waiting for it to be filled.. her doctor says she just has to grow out of it 😔

That’s complete bullshit. My daughter had reflux fairly bad as well. She threw up at least 5 times a day. We went to three different gi doctors till we got lucky with one that found a medicine combination and formula that worked for her. With my son, we go to the chiropractor. I definitely see changes after we go! It’s nothing crazy. They don’t crack their backs or anything lol

@_sheriee, her primary doctor wrote to her GI doctor suggesting to combine medicines and she turned it down.. she just switched her from Prevacid to nexium, if this doesn’t help her primary doctor said she would refer her somewhere else! It’s ridiculous when her regular doctor is trying more than the actual doctor who specializes in this... I just want my baby to have some relief! She’s in constant pain and I hate it for her 😞😢

@_sheriee, does the chiropractor actually give them some relief! I know there’s places around here that give free consultation and if you’re not happy with what they offer you don’t have to pay anything..

Wow! I hope she gets the relief she needs. They definitely need to get someone who cares. We had to combine. Now she’s only on one medication. I swear by the chiropractor! We saw results pretty quickly! Make sure wherever you take her that they are certified and trained to work with babies though! Not all chiropractors are.

This may sound crazy but I had to take a video of how my daughter would get after her bottle so the doctors would take me seriously. They thought I was a crazy young mom overreacting till they saw it. They base their decisions on the 30 minutes we are in the office as opposed to what us, the mothers who are with the kids 24/7, say!

@_sheriee, the chiropractors I’ve looked into are all pediatric chiropractors.. hopefully if we try it it’ll help 🤞🏻 it’s not just right after feedings with her, she’s in pain all throughout the day.. it’s crazy! I can hear reflux coming up nonstop, idk what else to do 😩😩 I may try and get a second opinion cause it’s really getting to be too much on her..
