So I have a problem. Today at Kai's 6 month wellness check up i was told that Kai lost weight instead of gained like shes supposed to. I have been noticing more and more that I'm not producing a lot or at all. We were told to supplement with formula. I have to get soy because the other formula I bought makes her break out. The problem I have is she wont take the bottle. I fought with her for over an hour to get her to eat. All she did was scream. Shes hungry I can tell but I'm empty. There's nothing in my breast. I tried to hand express to see if I could get something and nothing. What can I do to get her to eat from the bottle? We have to go back in two weeks to see if shes gained any. If not her pedi said we'll have to talk about other options. I'm tired and frustrated and just want my baby to be okay.

At six months I suggest trying a sippy cup instead of a bottle. Maybe she'll be more likely to take it if it doesn't seem so much like a poor substitution of the boob.
