My boyfriend thinks I’m inconsiderate because my friends are throwing me a gender reveal party.
He just told his family I was pregnant last week (so at 5 months) and he says that I “should have assumed that his family would throw me a party”
😳😳😳😳😳 please someone tell me I’m not crazy cause he is making me feel crazy. He’s known about the party my friends were throwing and was even invited and going to it. Now that his family knows it’s a different story.

Is he confusing a reveal party with a baby shower? At 5 months you could have already found out the gender if you wanted. He's crazy.

Lol, sorry, but he sounds like an idiot... You should have "assumed" his fam was gonna throw you a party? Why? Are you sitting around waiting for them to "save" you? You get things done when you get things done, can't sit around waiting for someone else to do things for you and yours. Besides, why can't they do something else? Still would be nice to have a baby shower

@leowifey, i just had the ultrasound to find out the gender they waited really late. But before he was fine with the party my friends were throwing. But now that his family wants to throw a gender reveal I’m inconsiderate 🙄 the party is in a couple of days and everything is bought and stuff

@sweetsap88, that’s what i said! I said “why would i EXPECT them to throw me a party? Do you know how stuck up that sounds?” But he says I’m acting crazy like usual

Nope not crazy! He is probably projecting what his family told him about it. Don't feel bad or guilty. They can plan the gendered baby shower. But the reveal is already planned. BTW my SO does the same when his family gets upset about something "We" agreed to.
