Be careful with slugs and snails. They can cause paralysis in animals and small children. I never knew until my dog died from eating a slug. 😮 it was so scary! I didn't even know they were poisonous.
@mamagunn.no.1 oh eww! That's gross. Good to know though! Sorry about your dog :( she only tried to eat it, I caught her before she stick it in her mouth
@leenie that's good! Lucky you caught her, kids will stick anything in their mouth 😂 How scary is it though. Just a garden slug can be that dangerous. Makes me so paranoid now!
@mamagunn.no.1 the thing is, my ds never stuck anything in his mouth when he was a baby. This one is such a little turd! She will stick anything and everything in her mouth. Needs to be watched like a hawk! She is good about taking things out and showing me what it is. We named the slug Frederick then let him go
Wow i didn't know that about slugs. That's a good piece of information to have considering they are all over where i am from. My daughter is 1 and I swear she puts everything in her mouth. Last week she was outside with her dad and he come bolting thru the door to the sink. I asked what happened apparently she had caught a stink bug and took a bite. He didn't think she actually got to swallow it cause he swiped it out of her mouth but Ewww. I thought i was going to get sick. So he was washing her mouth out. Kids can be so darn cute but so gross at the same time.
