@gabriellemq_ same happened to me my last pregnancy and it don’t help that I sleep with my wrists bent but my doctor recommended I buy a wrist brace and I did and wore it only at night it helped so much!
@gabriellemq_ Mine never stopped. In fact, the swelling was so bad in my arms that I ended up with nerve damage. My youngest turns three next month, and I still have no feeling in my fingertips. Again, I already have major issues with carpal tunnel, so that's not something that most moms have to worry about.
The numbness and tingling in your hands and fingers are due to pregnancy carpal tunnel. I had a terrible time with it in both my pregnancies, since I already have carpal tunnel from years of serving and bartending. You can get some relatively inexpensive arm braces from any pharmacy that will help. As far as swelling goes, that's going to happen. Especially in the last few weeks. I completely cut out salt, and started elevating my feet every hour or two. That helped some. And, of course, talk to your doctor!
