I was getting 8 oz. from each breasts. I think it's cause I ate oatmeal pretty much everyday while I was pregnant. I have so much milk stored I don't bother to pump anymore.

How much are you mommas pumping per breast during one session ? I got 2oz on one breast today and was super excited !

@mommy2babygirl, you’re one of the lucky ones! Lol with my son my other breast would leak but this time around it’s not leaking. My baby is only 5 days old so maybe I still need some time.

@mariapb, I’m still getting use to it. I feel like my breast doesn’t respond to the pump the way it does to my baby. Idk if I’m doing it wrong or what 😩

I hate pumping I get better results from a single hand pump before a feeding.

@chelseaz, that’s a good idea!! And I heard about the oatmeal I’m going to start that I also heard yogurt may help! I’ve been exclusively BFing she’s 3 weeks now but I’ve been trying to start a supply stock so that when we go places this summer it’s not so awkward to feed her out in public or for when I have to go to a store without her

@mommy2babygirl, you should buy one of the suction cup things to put on the other side while you bf! It catches all the milk that leaks so it’s not wasted. I only pump 3 times a day now trying to decrease my supply some because my boobs literally keep me up during the night because they start to hurt. I exclusively bf until Ava was 2 weeks old and then started only bf’ing at night and pumped 5 times a day for about a week and a half.

Not sure if it’s related to my production, but I have been eating a lot of oatmeal lately. I don’t know why, but I crave it for breakfast almost every day. I did read that it can be used to help boost milk production. Not sure how accurate that is though 🤷‍♀️

@chelseaz, It’s weird because I’ll leak so much and when I feed her there’s just so much coming out it soaks my clothes and me and her also! But then I go to pump and I get 2-3oz and that’s all; how many times a Day did u pump? I haven’t really been doing it often so maybe that’s why? She eats like 12-16 times a day 😩

@mommy2babygirl, that’s how it was for me with my son. I produced enough to feed him and freeze maybe 4oz extra each day. I’m not sure what’s different this time. Literally, I had to buy a little suction cup thing to put on one side when I nurse her on the other because as I bf her, the other side will literally leak out 2-3oz without even pumping. It’s actually frustrating because I soak through shirts and I can’t really bf her in public because she gets milk ALL over me and her. Part of me wishes my 14 month old son would still drink breast milk now that I have so much. I had to stop bf’ing him at 7 months because I was pregnant and stopped producing.

Yep, I am! I don’t know if it’s just because it’s my second baby or what, but I feel like a darn dairy cow. I bf her during the night and pump 3 times a day getting between 12-17oz each time. I shocked myself the first time I pumped out over a pound of milk.

I breastfeed but never really respond to a pump. It’s a pain in the ass!

I did with my last and will.do for this one in a few weeks
