Ladies I need your help! We live in a co-op and last summer we were smelling cig smoke and weed come through our kitchen ugh! So we wrote a letter to the people that live behind us and put it in a few mailboxes, now it’s almost summer again and it’s so strong the past few days, I’m pregnant, my daughter is 2 1/2 we don’t smoke and I don’t want to subject her or myself to this 2nd Hand smoke! Can you please help with some nice but stern ideas on what to write on this years letter go around, appreciate your help!

Just be honest about how u feel about the smoke and ask that they do it out side if it’s illegal there then let them know if it continues then call the office

All you can do is just talk to them, if it’s illegal to smoke weed there then tell them you will contact the police but if legal there’s not much you can do about them smoking on their own property the same thing with the cigarette smoke you can’t tell them they can’t smoke.

Do they rent it? If they own not much you can do about it, if they're renting go to the landlord

Don’t give out any identifying information. ie “Hey, it’s me the heavily pregnant lady with the 2 1/2 year old.” Should you be forced to call the cops one day you need to be anonymous.

@mountainmom, we are renting and our landlords contacted the management company but you know they don’t like to ruffle feathers so they suggested we write a letter stating that if they can smoke in another room or outside because we all have balconies or patios, shortly after it did stop but now it’s starting back up again I can’t take it anymore!

Might help just to rewrite a letter to them stating about children and whatnot, just act concerned.
But if they are smoking weed they probly forgot abt the first letter already 😂🤭

@happymommyxo I feel like that's just their way of brushing you off 😒 and they aren't going to do anything about it. I hope you get it worked out!
