Yes it possibly. Baby may also turn though. You can see if you are a candidate for version which manually turns the baby.

Both my babies were/are head down by 29 weeks and we go back at 34 weeks for another ultrasound to make sure she’s still in position and everything is good.

It’s very possible they will have to do a csection or your doctor will try and turn the baby around. However I’ve seen tons of babies being born feet first without any issues.

I would say it also depends on the hospital, for example I’ve been told kaiser is a very csection happy hospital (if you have kaiser)

Since pregnancy goes to 40’weeks, hopefully the baby just goes head down by then so you don’t have to do c section x.x

I have Kaiser.. this is my first pregnancy so I’m still terrified of both c section and natural FML

@colorfuldreams, I had kaiser with my first and it went ok I had a vaginal delivery but the doctors did push the epidural on me. My cousin had kaiser with her baby and they were scheduling her c section by 30 weeks because they planned on “a big baby” granted he was born close to 10 lbs but still.

My first baby was breech so I had a section at 39 weeks he flipped head down 10 Min before my surgery then went breech again when the dr pulled him out lol

Mine was born at 38 weeks c section due to being breeched. Lots of water like drink an extra cup or two for more fluids so they can move down that’s what one of the nurses told me. Drink enough water that your pee is clear

@colorfuldreams, my daughter came out facing my leg and tore my labia and it wasn’t that bad, I had a few stitches but they didn’t bother me. I have never had a c section (I pray I never do) so I can’t say what is worse but I plan on having another vagina delivery this time around again

It’s always a possibility. My nephew was head down for weeks and turned transverse literally hours before she went into labor and she had to have an emergency c section.

You can never be too sure what is going to happen.

@nicolealison, do you feel it when you tare? And do you feel sore later on from it ?

I’m mainly trying to prepare myself for the recovery, I have a crappy pain tolerance

@colorfuldreams, I didn’t feel it, I was just told that I tore my labia and they had to put a few stitches, I didn’t even feel the stitches :P I did look with a mirror when I got home 😇 it wasn’t so bad and even now you can’t really tell.

I think the recovery is going to “bad” no matter what. No matter how bad it hurts it’s worth it and no way to really get out of it 😋 I actually have a pretty high pain tolerance so I didn’t have to take any of the pain meds but my doctor did give me nursing safe pain medication.
