@blakeslatinmama, I used the orajel but hardly ever... I never wanted to use it but my family insists it was fine because we all grew up on it. So I did... what really pisses me off ( at myself) is that the FDA sent out 3 different warnings in 2006, 11 and 12! It’s just kinda scary...like I research this shit all the time and never saw that! It just shows how much we really need to educate ourselves.

I have two children and have never once used it my first is now 3 and when she was born I did my research for teething and saw it can cause that and never touched it.

I've been using the nuby all natural teething gel too!! No orajel with this baby... I did use it with my other kids.... The condition that orajel is causing, it's a rare occurrence.. but still enough reason not to use it.

Yeah there were some cases that babies turned blue or purple 😒 never using that.
