@jacob_mommy, I’m only 12 weeks I’m just thinking ahead lol . I like to be prepared and have a plan . Do you know what your having yet ?

I was able to breastfeed immediately while in the 2 hr recovery room. I had both surgeries also.

@mfmf, but did they wake you so you can do soo ? I’m sure if I’m awake I can but I usually still be asleep and when I awake I’m always in my room already . So I need them to wake me so I can feed . I don’t know why they shouldn’t unless they just want me to rest

@mfmf, and how did you feel after having both at the same time ? Have you had any complications from tubes being tied ? No more pain than the usual ?

@jacob_mommy, awwe congrats . I have a 9 yr old boy and my daughter is 1 so I’m okay with having either or I be thinking I know what I prefer to have but then it goes back and forth every other day lol .

I wasn't asleep, so they didn't have to wake me. Also, I didn't feel any different. Both of my kids were born via cesarean. I was totally fine, no complications. I stopped taking my pain meds after about a week( including the days I was in the hospital).

@jacob_mommy, girl I cannot wait that long if you paid me too 😂😂😂 I thought about it but really sticking to it I really don’t know . With this being my last that would really be a all time surprise but I just don’t know if I’m strong enough to do so lol .

@mfmf, yea I wasn’t asleep during both mines either but I always fell asleep before leaving the room . They give me Extra pain meds because numbing doesn’t take right away and ima bleeder and c-sections always take longer than needed because I have tons of scar tissue from my 1st c-section not healing right . And I’m sure now with me just giving birth barely a ye ago there’s more .

I'm sure if you tell them, they'll wake you or keep you awake.

I had C section and after they pulled my son out they tied my tubes and that was my second c section and i wasnt worn out or tired your just so focused on the baby at that point all other worrys go away

@cat_lady, they give me extra meds cause pain meds don’t kick in right away and it takes them longer than usual to do a c-section because I have a lot of scar tissue . so even though I go in awake by the time they’re done I’m knocked out and really weak and woozy when I wake . I never breast fed before so I didn’t need to wake right away . But since I am breast feeding this time I don’t want them to let me sleep rather I’m tired or not I want to feed and pump right away .
