Anybody have sciatic pain after birth?? This is killing me. I'm walking around like an 80 year old woman. Pain shoots all the way from the middle of my back down to my left heel and it hurts to take a step with my left foot and sometimes my whole left leg gives out 😭 is this normal?! I'm about to go see a chiropractor.

No need for chiropractic care just tell your doc to give you steroid shot in that nerve it will go away immediately I had that

I had it bad towards the end of my pregnancy and for a few weeks afterward. Thankfully, it eventually went away on its own. But I practiced self massage, stretched, and walked as much as I could.I also hit the ibuprofen pretty hard.

I would suggest going to see a medical doctor or a chiropractor ASAP. From what you are describing as “pain from the middle of back...down the leg” does not match the criteria for sciatic pain which originates in the buttock and then radiates down the leg. With your additional symptom of pain in the left heel and losing neurological control on the leg “whole left leg gives out” I am guessing you have a slipped vertebral disc. If you ever have complete loss of control in your leg or lose control of your bowels that warrants a trip to the ER. Without an examination or imaging it’s just hard to say what it exactly is but I am doctor of chiropractic. Also giving a steroid shot to the buttocks would only mask the symptoms not treat the problem.
