Men are just stupid. I was sleeping & our son was ok (apparently he was fussy to my husband) so they come back in the bedroom waking me up in the process. I snapped. Changed our peanut, now trying to get him back to sleep. Where is my husband? Back to playing video games while I'm wide awake dealimg with our son. He goes to me, "he wasnt ok, he was fussy so we went to watch a movie & I fed him" okay, great. But did you changed his diaper, did you think for a second that he just needed to be rocked? No. Ok.
I may have told him not to help me changed him bc he legit pissed me off. Sorry but its 130am I'll be up aroumd 6am with baby & we have an appointment at 11am. So I need my sleep...not in the mood to deal with a man child, two dogs and our newborn 😑

@walkers-mom he doesnt really help me at night. Im usually awake doing it and hes sound asleep. Its the first time I fell asleep that he actually took our son and did something with him.

@steph_anie, sounds like something my husband would do. They attempt just enough to make it seem like they are trying to help. But “can’t figure it out” and pawn it off! I’m really praying my husband steps it up a notch this time around, but I’m not gonna hold my breath! My husband likes to play video games late at night too and I’m playing dead if he ever does this $hit to me hahahaha! Best of luck not trying to kill your husband!!

@barebon lol I havent attempted it yet! He knows how I feel about video games but since hes on leave and our son is sleeping majority of the day I let it slide.

At least he didn't wake you up from the start to make you take care of him since he was perfectly capable... He let you sleep. Maybe he was up playing video games so he would be able to take care of him for you... Idk but I do know my son's father never did a damn thing unless I forced him and we fought constantly at night even getting the cops called on us once. I just think you should appreciate he tried I guess because a lot of men don't.

@steph_anie, I can totally understand that! :) that’s a rough situation to be in. Hope today leads to a better day! The sleep does gets better gradually.

@barebon today was pretty good. I took a nap and woke up to a fussy screaming baby, I let him cry and see if my husband took care of it. Nope. So i got up and changed, fed, and put munchkin back to sleep 🤷 no worries, he just wont be left alone with the baby 🙈😭
