Hi!! I’ve had it in and removed twice. The insertion was 100x worse, so if you’ve survived that, you’ll survive this! All I needed was a couple of steri-strips and a bandaid for a week, and it healed up fairly nicely. I do have a pretty nice round scar on my arm but it was removed and inserted from the same place twice. You’ll feel surprisingly well afterwards, just make sure to eat and drink water before you go.

I've had it inserted and removed 3 times! Each time it didn't even hurt and the scar is small! Don't stress and don't watch them take it out. It looks worse than it actually is lol

@tayler, yeah I can’t look at stuff like that. I looked when I got my blood drawn and passed out so now I can’t look at anything. How long after you got it taken out did you get pregnant? I am wanting to try for baby 3 but didn’t know how long it will take to get pregnant

@kelseychapman13 When I got it taken out the first time it took the first try! I got it removed at the end of October and conceived in the middle of November. But this last time it took me 8 months to get pregnant!

@tayler, oh ok. I am really excited to try for baby 3. I just have to get it taken out because since it has been in 2 years now it will on and off start hurting and for the last month it is just getting worse and I can’t take it anymore.

@kelseychapman13 Aww! I hope you get pregnant quickly and it all goes smoothly 😊 .. mine was uncomfortable towards the end each time also! Overall I loved the birth control though!! Worked great lol

@tayler, yeah I love that I don’t have a period but once ever blue moon lol. But I just hate the pain in my arm.

The lidocaine burns but that is the worst part. I have a tiny scar but it isn't a big deal and isnt even noticeable if i don't point it out.

Have you gotten it out yet? :)
