I did a TON of walking! Not really a fitness person either but by the time I went for my FIRST cervical check I was 100%effaced and 1cm dilated. I walked around like that for a month. I ended up delivering at 38w4d with only 6 hours total of labor.

@quincysmommmmy_, In my case I was right going against DR advice, he was only 7 lbs 14 oz! Each to their own. I knew he wasn’t ready to be born on his due date.

@jasminsmith782, nope. Doctors are so pushy at the end. I told them no cervical checks, no stressing, etc. my baby will come when my baby is ready. My dr said “well I’m on vacation...” and I told her not even to finish. Relax and get some sleep while you can.

@laniejay, I get monitored 2 times a week my doctors act like something major is suppose to happen !!!

Nothing is supposed to be happening at 38 weeks

Your not 40 weeks so it’s ok if nothing is happening yet. Give it another week
