I’m always anxious before hand. (I’ve had 3, this will be my 4th.) but once I get in the OR I’m fine. I always have a reaction to the medicine that makes me puke so that’s not fun but other then that I’ve never had any other issues. My healing process is always a piece of cake and I’m very thankful for that.

@gummybear728, I never had a rough recovery but as pp states the sooner you get up and push yourself the better you will feel. I was up walking around 1-2 hours after each of mine. I also kept a small pillow with me for 2 weeks for when I had to couch or sneeze...or laugh. Holding the pillow on your incision really helps!

I just kept reminding myself I had no time to stop as I’ve always had other kids to care for at home after my sections so I just push myself. I was driving 5 days after my last one. My dr was in shock lol

I have 2 scheduled csections, lasted about 45 min in OR, second time around I hemorrhaged pretty bad during and after my surgery. I was hemorrhaging out of my vagina really bad all the nurses were rubbing into my room cutting my underwear off! I had a really hard recovery but everyone is different, my second was way worse than my first. I didn’t feel ‘normal’ for about 3 weeks after each. I needed a lot of help because I could barely walk when I got home.. the last one sucked so bad it made me never want to have another child. I’ve had friends that had NO pain when they got home, every body is so different
