Woke up at sunrise (4:30am) with my husband and watched the sunrise. Then he cooked breakfast (bacon, eggs, jam toast, fried potatoes, strawberries, and orange juice) Now we are about to drive 2hrs to my Drs appointment. 😍 Ultrasound Day!

I drive at least an hour to mine but my doctor is worth it. If you go into labor being 2 hours away, what is your plan? I'm trying to figure out a plan being just an hour...

@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, this is my 3rd pregnancy and both times I went into labor at home and just had my husband drive me. But Iv also had to have my water broken manually both times because of how thick it is.

@knockout so how did you handle the contractions for 2 hours and when did you know it was time to leave without worrying about delivering on the highway? My family keeps saying an hour is too far and I should have chose a closer hospital because I'll probably end up delivering on the highway.. Although I don't think that's going to happen because from my experience with my first, my body wasn't cooperating and didn't want to let go of my son, even on his due date my body had barely started the process...

@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, cried the whole way and leaned the seat way back. Definitely the most uncomfortable ride of my life but my doctor said it’s super super rare to deliver in the car. Unless you are actively pushing.
