Yeah that is my worst fear of a home invasion 😞 that must of been really scary I’m sorry do you keep the gun loaded then keep it in a safe? I have never owned a gun before

We had to wait for my husband to find us it was horrible if he is not home I keep in next to me ....

I went to training and everything to learn about guns and I have alarms at every window and entrance I lock it up but also have a holster for during the day in my home if I'm alone I'm always ready and very careful around my children... I was trained to never leave it loaded because an accident can happen a lady killed her 4 you old when her gun fell on the floor in her hotel room it was on the news.... go to training and learn everything it's ok to own a gun as long as you learned about them too

I do, right now one sits on above my bed where it’s easy to reach (and out of little ones reach), there’s safes out there that pop open with your finger prints, which in my opinion it’s better than one with a code because in a high risk situation that’s more room for error, I have another in my kitchen above the fridge. And then I have a concealed carry that’s in my purse 🤷🏻‍♀️ we travel a lot so I take no risks.

Yes. My husband is an officer. We have several. All in safes & out of sight and reach of our daughter.
