My friend volunteers for one where I am and they have domestic violence shelters and safe houses for women coming out of human trafficking. I’m sure they must have other resources to help you figure out what steps you can take to support you and your son

@phoebesmommy, his dad sells drugs and is currently living out of a extended stay motel. I don’t trust that he would not sell when he’s got our son there. I’ve been there b4 with our son n his friend who is an addict walks in with herion in his hands n asks him to look at it and is standing over my son with it. I grabbed my son and left. He personally isn’t dangerous but he does dangerous shit

@kri2182999, how stressful. Is his dad dangerous? Unless he is dangerous - even if he’s immature- maybe you need to let him help you

Rub baby Vick’s on his chest but make sure he has a onesie on and but it on his feet then put socks on. My mom used to do it to me when I was a little girl, she even added salt to the rub

@phoebesmommy, no he wasn’t sick til he went to daycare. His dr didn’t want him going bc he was a preemie. He got sick from the daycare. I worked at the daycare.

Huh good to know. He’s sleeping in his bouncer tonight his dr told me to have him sleep in his bouncer or car seat

Just get a nose frida and some saline drops. Use a clean cool mist humidifier or a clean hot one and you can put a small folded towel under baby’s mattress so that nothing is a suffocation or strangulation hazard

Eucalyptus oil is dangerous go get that off your baby

@phoebesmommy, why? I used baby Vick’s and on the box it said for baby’s 2 months and up

It can actually thicken mucus and increase it and lead to respiratory distress

Run Vick’s humidifier works really good I used it at night for my son when he had a cold and he slept through the night

Ok. I just bought a humidifier he’s in his bouncer rn trying to bounce him to sleep. I put Vick’s on his chest. I put him in long sleeve pjs is that a bad idea?

When my daughter is congested I always give her a warm bath then I suck the snot out of her nose with a nose frieda then I run a cool mist humidifier in her room

Keep him propped a little and run a humidifier if you have one
