Being induced in three days! Aahhhhhh! First pregnancy, please someone tell me all I need to know! Going in at 6am Thursday morning. I’m sooooo scared.
I was induced with both of my boys. It wasn't any worse than having my girls. I've had 4 epidurals, never had any issues. Never tore or had to be cut either. Everyone is different, so just because something was awful for someone else it doesn't mean it'll be the same for you.
I was induced with my second and had the epidural. Looking at your location, I was most likely at the same hospital you will be delivering at 😉 the staff was amazing for both of my deliveries. My advise is just go with the flow and have an open mind.
Interesting comments. Mostly scary . However that epidural sounds rather dangerous with lasting side effects for some...I will certainly be going through naturally.
@paislees_momma, yeah, everyone acts like being induced is the worst way to labor. I liked it because I knew when she was coming! Lol. And even though I wanted to punch my husband in the face while pushing (lol), it was such a great bonding experience and having your baby on you makes everything worth it. I genuinely loved every minute. You’ve got this momma 💖💖
@princessrose, that definitely gives me a lot of relief!! I’m so freaked out and everyone has a horror story, it’s nice to here good ones♥️
My best advice, go with the flow. It’s your first baby so you don’t know what to expect. That’s what kept me calm. Your first time experiencing things and you don’t have anything else to compare it to. I was induced and had a 25 hour labor but honestly it was wonderful, wouldn’t change a thing. Also I had the epidural and I don’t have any more back pain than I did before. I caught up on my Netflix shows and sleep 😅
@taylorsmommy1017 yea.. I'm sure it hurt way more... the first time it happened to me I pushed the lady hands away... she snapped at me then later explained why she had to do it...
@taylorsmommy1017, oh noooooo ugh I’ve been so against the epidural but now I feel like I have to
@taylorsmommy1017 I didn't know that did that with c sections as well... 🤔
Everyone is different I was inducted with my 5th baby the pitocin wouldn't let me relax and made things drag on I decided to get my 1st epidural and didn't have any problems with it and my 2nd baby was a CS I had a spinal block no problems but like I said every one is different good luck and I hope u have a fast labor and delivery u might want something to keep u busy in the beginning but once things get really going u might want a focus point if u plan on all natural
It's different for everyone. Iv then the pitocin to start things going. You can choose to get epidural. You'll get checked to see how far along you getting. And once your fully dilated thing will move fast. Pushing starts.
Good luck today! I hope everything is going smoothly for you!
