Oh man i go thru that witb my 5 year daughter man shes pain in the butt kids are picky i think thats why kids dont finish theyre food at all and theyre hungry!

Wrap up food he doesn't finish and when he's hungry later, get it back out and have him eat it. He will eventually realize he will be eating it no matter what whether it's now or later.

That’s great that he knows to stop when he’s full. We grew up where you forced to be in the clean plate club and that causes very unhealthy relationships with food. I am trying my hardest to break that bad habit with my kids.

@wvmommy it was nothing to save bc he waste it all over the table. It's ok bc I made a nice big pan of chicken with beans nd peppers. He will be eating same meal torr. I didn't even feel like cooking. My body hurting me, this pregnancy putting me thru it, so he definitely felt how pissed I was.

@laniejay nah he wasnt full. I'm telling u I gave him a tiny plate of food nd on top of that when he gets to his father house he eats whatever he wants. So its definitely different over here when he gets home. He becomes a very bad picky eater.

Omg sounds like my life. My daughter acts like she’s starving and then barely touches her plate lol. The only thing that works for me is sitting down with her and giving her the infamous mom stare when she starts to play with the food or try’s to leave the table.
