My body is so confusing.

I think I'm going to be making a Dr apt soon. I have periods that are usually started by one to two days of spitting then two days of heavy bleeding where I can't even take a shower with my boyfriend because it's so heavy. Then light to medium for about three more days and then spotting for sometimes four more days... This can't be normal.
