Co-sleeping Separation Anxiety?

I been co-sleeping with my baby since he was born, he just turned 1 July 29th. My husband says its time to start using the crib(which I used a total of a week if that when he was younger) But when I say I am going to try it, when it comes down to bed time I always shy away from the crib and put him with me. He is not a cry baby and I think he will take it well, bc he takes naps in it and loves it. I think it is just me.
