Am I Alone?

Ever since about four weeks ago sex has became unbearable, when my SO puts it in I can not allow him to even go in like 2 inches bc it hurts so bad like a raw feeling, then when we are finished it burns on the outside and is very sore on the inside for like a half hour or so later. My midwife did a BV test and said it came back negative and told me to use MONISTAT cream on the outside but how is that going to help??? We use lube and still the same. I am supposed to call her back to let her know if it works but what am I to do??? I don't like the pain... It does not look like the midwife is going to help me and I am so frustrated! I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this and what maybe I should do. I am a first time mom and I am now at 14 weeks and 6days.
