Thoughts on co-ed baby shower?

I am a FTM and in the process of planning my baby shower. I originally wanted a co-ed baby shower because everyone invited is basically my close family. Honestly don’t know what to do and my MIL is giving my crap about just having all females there. My FIL really wants to be there and I just don’t know what to do ?‍♀️ I want to make everyone happy and don’t want to make anyone feel left out as this is the first grandchild for both families. I’m so torn on what to do. What are your thoughts on having a co-ed shower?
