Christmas+ extended family=?

On my dad's side of the family we only buy for the kids. And our family has grown so much the kids draw names. I sent a mass text before Thanksgiving asking to draw names early so I can get Christmas shopping done early. That way I can have it done before I felt like crap from chemo and I knew everyone was taken care of. Well not one but two of my cousins decided now is the perfect time to break up with their significant others. It's 8 days before Christmas and now I have to exchange gifts and rebuy for different kids. While feeling like death. Why can't these grown-ass people keep their s*** together till after the holidays! Next year there will be a new rule if you are not married to your significant other their kids will not be included in the name draw. Why do my cousins have to always come with so much drama. They're grown with Children of Their Own you think they would know better by now
