hoping my baby girl is having a better day..

Yesterday when dd got home from daycare I asked her how her day was and she wouldn't tell me. So I asked her was everyone nice to her, " yes nice mama". So I asked her what she did." Me Mean mama" well did you mean to be mean to your friends? No so I told her okay sweetheart play nice tomorrow. Then when I went to put her in bed last night, she tells me she doesn't want to go to school because she's mean. I asked again if anyone was mean to her. No mama me mean. Then it clicked in my head I asked her did someone tell her she was mean yes Mama. Her little eyes were so sad. She tried to tell me the kid's name I couldn't understand her but I did figure out it was a little boy. But she was so sad that he said she was mean she didn't want to go to School. I told her it was okay they would probably play better today. And she could always tell me what's bothering her. She was happy with that and was excited to go to school this morning. My DH talk to the teacher at drop off and some little boy did say she was mean because she was making 2 mr potato heads fight. LOL but they didn't think dd heard him. But oh she did. The teacher did say she tends to play by herself and is shy. But hopefully with a little more time she'll start to open up. Guys the look on her face made me want to cry. So I just hope she has a better day today! I will say in the short time she is been going I have already seen an improvement in Her speech but I still worry because I know they don't understand a lot of what she says yet. I really don't know what the point of this post is but it's been on my mind all day. I can't wait to give her a big hug!
