So surgery was...

Yesterday at 7am got done by 11am. they get in and find out that the mass was to large for laparoscopy done. So cut wide open for me it was. The mass was the size of a baseball. And the Dr said I was so backed up he was shocked my colon didn't bust. Sorry if tmi. But I feel really luck it didn't. Still waiting on labs to say what the mass actually is. Which could take up to 2 weeks. But I at least won't be in too much pain while waiting. I also got a full hysterectomy. I wanted to keep my ovaries but opted in the end not to bc if it ends up being colon cancer they would have to go back & take them. My dh stayed the hospital with me tonight but I may be sending him to sleep at home. Bc his snoring keeps waking me up even with my lovely morphine button. ??
