what to pack?

I've never been so excited but yet so scared at the same time. Surgery is on Tuesday so maybe I won't be in so much pain after. Well at least it will be a different pain and I'll get pain pills finally. But I'm trying to pack for the hospital today because we have a fully booked weekend and doctor's appointments for the kids on Monday. But I'm so confused I'm not sure what to pack, how much to pack or anything. The only thing the doctors know for sure is that I will be at the hospital at least till Friday. I'm thinking just a couple pair of pajama pants and some big comfy shirts. What do you think? I probably wouldn't be so confused if they actually knew what the plan was. But they really won't know until they cut me open.
