Why is it important to always have a back-up plan?

So I finally go in for testing early Monday morning to figure out if it's Crohn's or not. Yay. As soon as I got the date and time I realized I need to send my kids somewhere for the night because there is no way I'm getting both babies out that early. So I immediately find somewhere for both the kids just stay the night. The baby will be going to my aunts. I'm kind of freaking out because I'm not ready to leave him overnight yet but mommy has no choice. I picked the best person for him. As for dd my mom offered to watch her. So I just found out today she won't be watching her. She told me it was because she couldn't get the time off but I know firsthand that's a lie. My brother-in-law is a supervisor at the same place. He let it "slip" that it was approved but she changed the day because she wanted an extra day after her vacation. Which cool I guess but don't lie about it. So now I'm left scrambling to find someone to watch dd. I texted my dad as soon as I found out but that was 3 hours ago so that's his way of telling me no. So crossing my fingers that maybe my sister can watch her. I just don't want to make the poor girl sit at the hospital. If I don't figure it out but for DH gets home he's going to be so pissed.
