Back Labor?

Momma's who have had back labor did your whole stomach tighten or did your stomach tighten at all? I'm due tomorrow and have had almost unbearable back pain along with period like cramping for 2 days now but my whole stomach doesn't always tighten. I was about 30 pound so overweight pre pregnancy.
