Bothered

I've nowhere else to write this, but oh has had something wrong with his insides for about 5 years. They still don't know what. He was away to see the specialist today & apparently the last blood test results showed up an overly high level of a particular hormone that makes acid. He's been told he has to go for a very specialised scan on his pancreas where they're basically looking for tumours ? it's quite possible that there's a type of rare tumour in his pancreas secreting this hormone, which has a good possibility of being cancerous. I don't think he's told his mum (I think he just told her he needs another scan) so I can't speak to her. It keeps coming into my head and I don't know what to do. He's not even 30 yet ? all I can do is keep hoping they're being over cautious and the scan will be fine ?
