Elevating babies bed for gas?

My 2 month old wakes up after 5 hours during the night for his feed, lately he's been having issues with gas. As he's feeding I can hear his tummy gurgling so loud and it sounds kind of painful. After his burp(if he burps) he goes all stiff legged and whines like he is trying to push out farts but can't.
