labour rant!

I was at my mothers a few days ago and she started going on about how she laboured naturally and that i had it easy by getting an epi... first i would like to point out i was induced early at 38 weeks due to rfm, secondly, im one of the unfortunate few that epidurals dont work on. I had a posterior baby and the syntocin made my body go into shock so i spent the first 6 hours throwing up due to violent contractions (which weren't actually making me dilate) she then proceeded to tell me that i wasnt in active labour till i got the epi (not true, i had inconsistent contractions the whole 14 hours) and that i took the easy way out... i don't care if she is my mother I think she is just f***ing rude!
