Braxton hicks?

I was at work today and I got this really horrendous pain in my cervix. Felt like when your getting your af and your cervix is trying to pass a clot. It moved to my back and then just took over my while pelvis.. I tried to walk it off and then tried sitting down and nothing made it better. I had it for about 10 minutes before it finally wore off. Is it a Braxton hicks or something like that? I'm a ftm so I'm lost! :)
