I don't think I can put my LO in daycare

I've verb offered a job at a daycare, but they don't have space for me LO so until a spot is available which could be months I will have to put him in another daycare. He's always been at home with me and he's never even had a sleep over and now I'm expected to put him in day care for almost 10 hours a day 4 days a week. This job would benefit us so much finically but the closer I get to my start date the more I'm feeling like I can't do it. My biggest fear is that he will hate me, think I abandon him, feel sad and lonely. I just keep crying when I think about it. How do people do this?
