My baby is a CO sleeper

Now before anyone talks about the risk of SIDS I'm aware of them and I'm very careful. But my baby is a CO sleeper! If I didn't sleep with him I'd probably be dead from exhaustion. Especially at night he will not sleep if he isn't close to me. I've tried to crib and the Rock and play and he doesn't like it. I've tried swaddling him then laying him down... It doesn't work. I've tried waited a few minutes before stepping away and soothing him a little... It doesn't work. I'm not able to sleep well because most nights he is sleeping in my arms. I don't know what to do. Sometimes he will sleep in the swing but it stops rocking after and hour and when it does he wakes up. What do I do? I can't hold him forever!
