Rant\Rave... So I took my girls to a place called wacky tacky. Its a huge play place with different themes. One was jungle, deep sea and outer space. Ive taken the girls to another one but smaller.... Rant is the parents. 80% of them where on their phones. Kids ages where 2-10. Well there was 3 little boys who kept climbing up slides and pushing kids. Even pushed my youngest out of the way to get though one of the ball pits... They where prob 5-7. So old enough to know better. There mom was on her phone the whole time but to yell at them once for fighting. Well my youngest wanted to go down the roller slide. I asked them nicely to move 4 times. It was all 3 of them blocking it and trying to run up it. Well after the 3rd time dd started to get upset. So I told them to move NOW and I was done asking. Finely they moved. But after we went down the mom was giving my the evil eye and told me not to talk to her boys like that... I pretty much let her have it. Told her you saw me asking and not once did they move or you try to at least parent them. That it says not to climb up the slide and she should actually watch her children instead of being on her damn phone... Think she was taken back that I called her out. She put down her phone and called her boys over to tell them not to listen to the rude lady. Like really I'm the rude one? They pushed my two year old and then kept going up the slide after they saw us waiting... I was leaving and as I left I said loud enough for her to hear. "Guess playing on your phone and actually interacting and controlling you kids is to much to handle" again was given the evil eye on my way out. I know petty on my part but these boys where so rude and after pushing my 2 year old then not letting her slide got to me. My dd was in tears because they would not move to let her go... Also I just couldn't Bealive how many parents where on their phones. Like dont you at least want to watch them? Lots where calling for there parents to watch and all they did is look up for 2 seconds and face back in there phones... There where a few patents that played with them and took pictures. Same thing I did. Only time I had my phone out was to get pics them right back in my purse... Really social media can wait. Kids grow so fast and next thing you know there moving out.... So are you one of those patents who sit on your phone while your child is playing? Or do you play with them?
