Wedding registry sil at it again.

So few months ago I made a post about my soon to be sil. It was about a birthday party she threw for her one year old and expected everyone to provide the food and also made a registry asking for diapers, wipes and formula. I found it very strange and tacky to ask for necessities that you should already be providing for. So fast forward to the wedding invite. They have listed that they are registered at Target. So I went to go take a peek. I never did a registry for my wedding but I had a general idea of what normally is asked for. So when I start to look at the items they have listed I was shocked. On the registry they have listed 35 towels, six different blankets, toilet paper, paper towels, shaving cream, Lysol cleaning wipes, baby gates, memory foam for a crib, stuffed monkey meant for baby, printer ink cartridge, 3-pack of sponges and a few other necessities for cleaning and upkeep on a home. I was always under the impression when it comes to a wedding registry is usually the stuff for the home like tableware, household appliances, small furniture for the home, money or keepsakes to remember your wedding. I've never heard of putting household cleaning products or stuff you need or want for the baby on a wedding registry. I don't know I just find it strange to ask for these type of items. Keep in mind when she made a registry for her daughter's first birthday and baby shower she also put toilet paper on there too. Told my husband I was going to buy a big Sams Club pack and throw a bow on it because it's obvious they're in desperate need of some butt tissue. What do you ladies think? Do you find this tacky or is this the norm now?
