Constant tight stomach

So I've been having contractions for weeks now but today seems different. My stomach is constantly tight. Like it won't loosen up at all since the moment I woke up 5 hours ago. And there's much less movement although I have felt him adjust (a foot poking my side or a butt jutting the middle of my stomach). But not much. I don't want to make something out of nothing, but wondering if any of you have this or have had it.
