Baby shower for sixth baby

OK this is very controversial and some people but has anyone had multiple baby showers? This is our sixth baby and I have not had one with the last three babies. I did have one with the first three. And I realize being an experienced mother that it makes me kind of sad that I haven't had any for the last three babies. not that we want or need anything from anybody. I just wish we could get together to celebrate the life of our baby and no one offered to throw us a shower or a barbecue without gifts or anything the last three times. My emotions are not all over the place about it but it is something that I thought about more this pregnancy then the last two. What are you ladies doing to acknowledge and celebrate your current baby if you've already had previous children and showers?
