Tooth pain help please 4 weeks 4 days preg

Ok I went to the dentist for a broken tooth and found out at his office that I was preg. He would not touch me. Wouldn't do an exray. nothing. My tooth has started to progressively hurt. Has anyone had any work done in the first trimester? Anyone have a tooth ache that had to wait till the second trimester to have work? What did you do for pain? I'm desperate for info here so all thoughts appreciated. I can't marine going ten more weeks like this
