Is dumb ? I'm so upset with him right now. We have a rent house that we still pay on and our renters have left us over two months ago, they left the house with no notice, my husband and I (mostly I) have been trying to find renters since ours left, and have had no luck. He's also taken a pay cut recently ? and now we've drained our savings getting this house fixed back up and paying the mortgage on it. Such a stupid idea to ever rent that house out. Anyways, nobody seems interested in it, I'm about to go crazy. I asked my husband yesterday what his plan was and he said "if it was up to me it would be rented out or sold already" ? really?! As if I haven't been trying for MONTHS! I didn't say that I just said well obviously but what's our back up plan, how long do we plan to pay for both homes? And he said that there was no back up plan that that was the only two options, rent it or sell it. We can't afford to keep paying for both places, we've been out of health insurance and in January is when we get it back and it's $900 a month ? and he absolutely refuses to move back into the house. He thinks it doesn't make any sense and we should tough it out. Well that's fine but how are we going to survive?!? We've never lived a tight budget before and starting January we're going to be pretty right if we haven't gotten this place rented or sold! The house we're currently in is his Grandparents old house, there is no mortgage but the electric bill ranges from 250-650 a month so the stupid electric bill is a mortgage in itself during the summer ? I'm so stressed out, I just don't know what to do. ? he's being so unrealistic right now and I almost can't even talk to him about it because I get so mad about how nonchalant and ignorant he's being.
