Rude or nah?

So my dh is a CrossFit coach and so obviously I do CrossFit as well, I have a large kid gate thing that I keep up here for my two girls. Well there's a lady that has two heathens ? and I had to start putting it up because I would come in and my gate would be bent and they even messed something up that I temporarily fixed (though, it'll easily break for good if they continue to mess with it). Well we just got new owners and they want my gate to be the designated kid area which I don't really like but anyways, I'm here now and those girls are pushing on my gate jumping on it and climbing over it, I told the girls to stop several times and they didn't listen so I walked over to the mother and said "hey they can't jump on that, that's mine, not the gyms and I don't want it broken. My girls use it and if it's broken I won't have a way to keep them contained while I work out" and she was like "oh I've been telling them" but she seemed like I was being rude and I definitely don't feel like I am ? I don't really know how to deal with this situation because I don't really know the woman but I'm going to be pissed off if her kids ruin my stuff. I don't really want to just put it up because the new owners like that I let others use it and many other children use it with no problem so I'm kind of stuck ? also, from my understanding the people at the gym are getting super pissed off that she lets her kids come here anyways because they constantly climb out of the gate and run in front of others while lifting weights and stuff. Help!
