Gaining weight

Carter is gaining slowly but surely. At last appt he was 8lbs 10oz. I just think he should be more by now. I just don't get it! He takes his bottles and is even on vegetable oil to help with calorie intake! Am I just being crazy? He is 6mths 4 mths adjusted. I don't know what to think!
