Dogs and children.

I know a few of the moms on here also have dogs along with our babies. I'm starting to have issues with one of our family dogs and it's getting worse as my son gets older. So my dog is a tiny little thing, 5-7lbs tops, and a rescue. I've had her for 5 and 1/2 years and has always been a little nervous. Not that my son his walking, talking and screaming she's freaking out. She's been peeing on the carpet, she starts crying/whining whenever my son screams and throws fits. I don't know what to do anymore. She's a sweet little dog and I love her but I don't feel like it's fair to her live somewhere where she's so anxious all the time...I also can't see myself rehoming her since she is a nervous dog and some people might take her quirks the wrong way. Any moms have suggestions? We live in a small apartment so keepong them apart isn't really an option.
